Rocking some Desert Trek Clarks or some Padmore & Barnes gave you that hidden cool. You got comfort and classic styling, without your look being forced or contrived. That is, until you get some stupid ass gold and silver Wallabees.

Why gold and silver. Clarks is best in beeswax, tan, anything unassuming because of the “every man” simplicity. Shit, even Olive has known to work with a nice pair of Desert Boots.
Supreme knew what was up in their collaboration with Padmore & Barnes – don’t change a fucking thing, keep the gum sole, and soft leather, just give ‘preme some love at the heel and sole. David Z. has to make a mockery of a classic with the Olympic inspired silver and gold. I don’t know who David Z. is, but I bet that fool never rocked some Desert Treks with 14oz Dickies, with a nice crease.
Now on to the second question of, “who?” I guess David Z. fans would probably purchase this, get clowned on by their art friends, and shove the kicks deep into their closet next to their Collette pogostick, or whatever they purchased in their attempt to say “you ain’t on this shit”.
These shoes will live in infamy. Just like the Supreme x Timberland fiasco, the Barney’s x. Creative Recreation joints, and who can forget the deep discounts on APC x Nike Court Forces. All the press, in all the fashion blogs, would not be enough to keep lame collaborations from the sales rack.
