This is just beyond me. Jeremy Scott is a revered designer. Most recently he was ranked 31 by Face’s ‘Most Important People in Fashion’ issue, ranking higher than Alexander McQueen and Stella McCartney. Plus he can count Lindsey Lohan and Kanye West as fans. So this isn’t some cornball art project, the kid is legit. But DAMN!! I know that designers create some stupid shit to generate buzz, but Mr. Scott has outdone himself.
What I really like about this collection is Jeremy’s attention to detail. You can’t have a hamburger crewneck without having some French fries pants, and don’t forget the French fries top hat. And check the 3-D detail with the lettuce off the arms and body of the sweatshirt.
Oh, and peep the meatball necklace the chick is wearing with her spaghetti dress.
The end all and be all of this collection has to be the donut bracelet. Think of all the necks you break walking by the homeless, and the hungry.
